By developing effective alumni strategies, this project seeks to strengthen the connection between VET schools and the labour market, foster lifelong learning and enhance career guidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In many vocational education institutions, alumni policies are still underdeveloped. Yet, alumni can play a crucial role in improving education by sharing labour market insights, acting as mentors, and supporting students through internships and guest lectures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Project time<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>1.4.2025\u201330.9.2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Goals and activities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This project aims to highlight the benefits of alumni policies and provide clear strategies for implementation. Funded by the European Commission\u2019s Erasmus+ programme, CINOP (the Netherlands) and Samiedu Municipal Education and Training Consortium (Finland) collaborate to enhance alumni engagement in vocational education and training (VET) by developing practical guidelines for alumni policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The project aims to:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Gain insight into alumni policies and practices at national, regional and institutional levels in both countries;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop practical guidelines for alumni policies, including best practices, challanges and strategies;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Disseminate findings and guidelines to VET professionals and policymakers across Europe.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Project activities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Desk research to map national and international examples, identifying best practices, challenges and success factors;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two transnational study visits to Finland and the Netherlands to explore existing practices;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interviews with VET\/HE professionals, policymakers, employers and alumni during the visits;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creation and publication of practical guidelines on alumni policies for VET;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A European-wide online dissemination event.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Expected outcomes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The main deliverable will be a freely accessible publication of guidelines containing recommendations and concrete examples of effective alumni engagement in VET. Alumneilla voi kuitenkin olla ratkaiseva rooli koulutuksen kehitt\u00e4misess\u00e4. Alumnit voivat jakaa tietoa ty\u00f6markkinoista, toimia mentoreina ja tukea opiskelijoita ty\u00f6el\u00e4m\u00e4ss\u00e4 oppimisessa sek\u00e4 vierailla oppilaitoksessa my\u00f6s opintojen j\u00e4lkeen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hankkeen tavoitteena on kehitt\u00e4\u00e4 k\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6n suuntaviivoja alumnitoiminnan ja alumnipolitiikan kehitt\u00e4miselle kansainv\u00e4listen parhaiden k\u00e4yt\u00e4nt\u00f6jen pohjalta. Alumnitoimintaa kehitt\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4 hanke vahvistaa ammatillisten oppilaitosten ja ty\u00f6markkinoiden vuoropuhelua, edist\u00e4\u00e4 elinik\u00e4ist\u00e4 oppimista ja tehostaa uraohjausta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hankeaika<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>1.4.2025\u201330.9.2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tavoitteet ja toiminta<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Hankkeen tavoitteena on tuoda esiin alumnitoiminnan hy\u00f6tyj\u00e4 ja edist\u00e4\u00e4 alumnitoiminnan vahvistamista.
