Electronic certificate upon completion of studies

Since January 1, 2023, Samiedu Vocational College has transitioned to electronic certificates. Qualification certificates, qualification unit certificates, alcohol passports, and short course certificates are electronic documents with an EU-approved electronic signature. The electronic qualification certificate is reliable, secure, and ecological, making it easy to attach to job applications or further study applications. 

How to get your electronic certificate 

  1. In qualification certificates and qualification unit certificates the certificate process starts with your PCDP Counsellor. 
  1. PCDP Counsellor requests the certificate once all necessary credits are recorded in the study register. 
  1. After the verification of study records, you will receive a link to answer the final stage feedback survey.  
  1. After answering the final stage feedback survey, log in to Wilma to order the certificate. 
  1. In Wilma, go to Forms > Certificate Order. 
  1. Check your contact information, especially your email address, and confirm you have answered the final stage feedback survey. 
  1. Save the information. 

Participants of short courses do not need to order a separate certificate in Wilma. 

Certificate link will be sent via email 

  • Once your certificate is ready and signed, you will receive an email with a link to download it. 
  • If you do not receive the email within a week, check your spam folder. 
  • The download link is valid for 30 days. Save the certificate to your device within this period. 
  • For a new certificate link, a handling fee of 10 euros will be charged. 
  • The certificate contains personal information, so ensure data security when forwarding the certificate. 

Downloading the document to your device 

  • Open the document from the email link. 
  • Click the download button. 
  • Open the downloaded PDF and select download from the top of the page to choose where to save the file. 
  • The electronic qualification certificate can also be printed, but it is official only in electronic form. 

Verifying the document’s authenticity 

  • The certificate can be sent as is to authorities or as a job application attachment.
